Sloobie Sport's New Drop

Sloobie Sport have curated a thermal underlayer made specifically for women, as the brand are asking why if women make up half the sporting population, they are still expected to mould to an item that wasn't designed for them?
The UK Parliament have supported rendering solutions to this issue, stating that women and girls "deserve kit and equipment that is made specifically for them and enhances performance."

Sloobie have found that out of 173 players, 88% of women in sport are wearing men's base layers, including England internationals. Given that 4 million women play grassroots sport in England, and the October slide into negative-degree weather creates a great need for effective thermal layering, Sloobie have released 3 pieces of thermal layering to combat the issue. England Red Roses' Jess Breach and Zoe Harrison have subsequently invested in Sloobie Sport, recognising the necessity to solve this problem.
Sloobie Sport have launched an Elite Athletic Base Layer (£49), made solely for the female body.
With the base layer market estimated to nearly double in worth in the next 5-10 years from £391 to £610 million, Sloobie are a brand spearheading change within the women's game.
Sloobie Sport see the attendance records breaking each year in sports like Rugby and Football, yet even professional England players suffer discomfort while playing, with Red Rose Jess Breach exclaiming, “The crotch on my base layers is down to my knees."
Her fellow teammate Zoe Harrison shares this disappointment, stating that "you shouldn't have to think about whether your kit fits properly when you're playing for your country."

Positively, women's sports is being increasingly invested in and supported globally, but Sloobie Sport point out that the investment in kit should be there too.
Where "unisex" often refers to a product designed for men with women having to compromise, Sloobie Sport's new layers are a step towards dissipating such issues.
