Tired of swiping? Ready to meet someone who loves football as much as you do? GIRLACTICO is teaming up with THURSDAY for our first-ever Women’s Football Singles Watch Party, a night built for real connection. This LGBTQIA+ friendly event brings together fans, flirts and footy lovers for an evening of community, conversation and one of this season’s biggest fixtures. Come for the match, stay for the vibe.
The Event and The Vibe!
Imagine walking into an event where everyone is like you, single sapphics who love the beautiful game just as much as you. There’s awkward app intros, no forced small talk, just a room full of women and non-binary footy fans who’d rather bond over an Alessia Russo back-heel goal than a dating profile prompt.

This singles-focused watch party brings together 120 queer women and non-binary people, all here for the football and maybe a little flirting between chants. And if you’re thinking, ‘But all my mates are coupled up?’ No need to stress because around 40% of people come solo, so you’re in good company from the moment you walk through the door.
This isn’t your typical mixer and it definitely isn’t another night of doom-scrolling through dating apps. Everything just flows. The match breaks the ice, there’s no weird pressure, no performing, just a space where you can be yourself and maybe catch someone’s eye when you’re celebrating a worldie.

The Big Picture: Why We’re Here.
Women’s football isn’t just blowing up, it’s becoming the place where culture, community and queer joy collide. And in London, having spaces where women and non-binary fans can actually see themselves in the crowd is seriously important. We’re talking vibes-first, safe, welcoming energy, not another night squeezed between lads yelling at the telly.
Plus, let’s be honest, some dating apps are giving bare minimum and everyone’s craving real-life connection again. That’s why nights like this just hit different. Girlactico has been leading the charge in celebrating the women’s game and the fans who make it iconic and this event is just another excuse to bring everyone together under one buzzing, football-loving roof.

Logistics and What to Expect.
Here’s the deal: The fixture is England vs China, the date is Saturday 29th November and the location is BoxHall City, right near Liverpool Street, so getting there is easy whether you’re on the Tube, bus or just strutting in from the office.
Doors swing open at 4 PM, last entry is 5 PM and it’s a 21+ event, so bring your ID (no exceptions). Tickets are £10 online here and the event is exclusively for women and non-binary people.

Inside, it’s exactly what you want from a footy watch party: massive screens, beers on tap and plenty of room to cheer, chat and maybe lock eyes with someone who’s just as extra about every goal as you are. So, whether you’re rolling solo or with mates, the setup makes it easy to grab a drink, find your people and soak up every save and every England highlight in a space built for queer fans who actually get it.
Show up, ID in hand, ticket ready and get set for a night of goals, laughs and maybe a romantic spark… or two. It’s football, it’s queer and it’s unapologetically for you.

So, calling all single WLW and non-binary folk! Whether you’re here for the football, the vibes or the chance to meet someone new, we’ve got a spot saved just for you. Grab your tickets here and come celebrate the beautiful game with us!
