The Women’s Super League has no shortage of clubs, but now, there’s one for the people who spend their weekends obsessing over all of them.

AFTA Studios has officially launched the AFTA Super League Club, bringing its colourful world of illustration, storytelling and women’s football culture into the 2026/27 WSL season. It’s part membership, part fan community and part excuse to buy more women’s football merch, giving fans a place to follow the season beyond the 90 minutes; all of which feel perfectly aligned with AFTA.

Founded by wives Jade and Becca, AFTA has spent the last few years building a creative identity around women’s football. What started as a pair of Arsenal-inspired illustrations shared on Instagram has grown into official collaborations, player-specific merchandise, work with clubs and brands across the game, and a growing creative platform of its own.

Now, they’re turning that same idea of community into something fans can actually join.

Welcome To The Club

The AFTA Super League Club will run throughout the 2026/27 season, with members receiving exclusive content from September through May.

That includes Club emails featuring women’s football stories and SLC Spotlights, monthly phone wallpapers, behind-the-scenes content, AFTA illustative downloads, games, competitions and plenty of surprises along the way. There’s also a 15% member discount on AFTA Super League Club merchandise while your membership is active, alongside a welcome gift worth £10 and a Christmas gift later in the season.

If you’re quick, there’s even more! The first 100 members will receive a free AFTA Super League Club tee, while the first 50 will also get a free tote bag. If there’s one thing AFTA understands, it’s that football fandom doesn’t stop at supporting a team, it becomes integral to your identity and the way you present yourself. You want the shirt, the wallpaper; you want something to show you were there from the beginning.

Weekend Mode

The launch also brings a brand-new Super League Club 26/27 collection. Across tees and hoodies, including kids’ sizes, the collection is a love letter to the very specific experience of following the WSL.

“Weekends Are For Women’s Football” is for the fans whose weekend plans revolve around fixtures - whether that means heading to the stadium, to a pub, watch party or watching from home or getting comfortable in bed for a full day of football.

“Super League Club Neon” introduces the visual identity of the Club itself, while “Everything Super League” does exactly what it promises: celebrates the football, the drama, the outfits, the lore and everything that makes the league what it is.

It’s a continuation of the culture of women’s football that AFTA has always done particularly well.

Say Hello To Isaball

There’s also a new face joining the AFTA universe! Meet Isaball, the Club’s new mascot for the 2026/27 season.

AFTA describes her as fun, cheeky and slightly kooky, with a soft spot for the underdog and an appreciation for a good chant. And while she might have ribbons in different team colours, she’s ultimately here for every club in the Super League, especially when there’s a trophy lift involved.

For a brand built around making women’s football more colourful and creative, a football mascot was always going to make sense.

More Than Merch

The Super League Club arrives at an interesting point for AFTA. When we first spoke to Jade and Becca, back in March, they told us that their work was never really about simply creating products. Their illustrations began as a way of celebrating the players and moments they loved, before growing into something much bigger.

They described AFTA as a form of visual storytelling, and a way of making the women’s game feel accessible, joyful and human. There is, of course, merch, discounts and gifts,  but underneath all of that is the same thing that has driven AFTA from the beginning: creating somewhere for people who love women’s football to feel like they belong.

The WSL is already a collection of clubs, and now AFTA has created one for everyone who loves the league. The AFTA Super League Club is officially open!
