GIRLACTICO WhatsApp Community Code of Conduct

Welcome to the GIRLACTICO WhatsApp Community 💫

This space exists to celebrate, discuss, and support women’s football and the wider GIRLACTICO community. By joining this group, you agree to follow the guidelines below. These rules are in place to keep the community safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone.

1. Respect Comes First

  • Treat all members with respect and kindness.

  • No harassment, bullying, intimidation, or personal attacks.

  • Discrimination or hate speech of any kind (including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or misogyny) will not be tolerated.

  • We have the right to eject anyone from the group at any time

 

2. This Is a Safe Space

  • This community centres women’s football

  • Do not dismiss, undermine, or speak over other members’ lived experiences.

  • Respect different opinions and debate ideas, not people.

 

3. Zero Tolerance for Abuse

  • No abusive, aggressive, threatening, or defamatory language.

  • No trolling, baiting, or deliberately disruptive behaviour.

  • No sharing of explicit, sexual, or violent content.

 

4. Privacy & Confidentiality.

  • Do not screenshot, forward, or share messages outside the community without clear permission from the original poster.

  • Do not share anyone’s personal information without consent.

 

5. No Spam or Self‑Promotion

  • No unsolicited advertising, spam, or repeated self‑promotion.

  • Sharing relevant work, events, or opportunities is welcomed

6. Stay On Topic

  • Keep discussions relevant to women’s football, GIRLACTICO content, and related culture.

  • Avoid derailing conversations or flooding the group with off‑topic messages.

 

7. Phone Numbers & Visibility

  • This is a WhatsApp community, which means other members may be able to see your phone number.

  • By joining, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

  • GIRLACTICO is not responsible for how members choose to use or share contact information outside of the group.

 

8. Offline Meetups & Personal Safety

  • Any meetups, collaborations, or interactions that take place outside of this WhatsApp group are done at your own discretion.

  • GIRLACTICO does not organise, supervise, or take responsibility for in-person meetups between members unless organised by GIRLACTICO.

  • Please prioritise your own safety, meet in public places, and trust your instincts at all times.

 

9. Follow the Law & Platform Rules

  • Do not share illegal content or encourage illegal activity.

  • Follow WhatsApp’s terms of service at all times.

By joining and remaining in the GIRLACTICO WhatsApp Community, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in removal from the group.
